Single or double leaf metal door, overlapping on three sides, +/-60 mm thick, consisting of a solid double-walled door panel made of two 15/10 electro-galvanised sheets per leaf. The internal insulation is high-density rock wool, reinforced with 15/10 omega.
All our doors leave our workshops pre-painted in RAL 9010.

Most internal doors use a frame that sandwiches the head of the wall. The frame is made from zinc-coated sheet metal at least 20/10 thick. It is screwed to the opening with a minimum of two screws per jamb. The number, position and type of fixing are chosen by the installer to suit the masonry.
The frame is fitted with a rivet-welded strip made from a minimum of 40 x 20 x 1.5 mm tube. The strip hides the gap, on the non-hinge side, between the leaf and the frame.
When the wall has a batten, the most suitable frame is, in most cases, a tube that fits inside the opening. This type of frame is made from tubes with a minimum cross-section of 60x60x3 and is screwed to the opening using at least two screws per jamb. The number, position and type of fixing are chosen by the installer to suit the masonry.
The listel is made from cold-formed, electro-galvanised sheet metal with a cross-section of 20/10. The strip hides the gap between the leaf and the frame on the non-hinge side.
Automatic multi-point locking for doors
AutoLock AV3 from Winkhaus is a multi-point locking system with independent hook bolts. As soon as the door is closed, a magnetic device located on the frame triggers the actuation of the solid hook bolts to secure the door against unwanted access. In this way, the door is always securely locked to the frame without additional locking.
The hook locks and bolt can be unlocked manually using the locking cylinder or lever handle.
Magnetic release on the frame side
Located on the frame, the magnetic release allows the automatic lock to be triggered in a defined way, considerably reducing the formation of friction marks on the frame and the noise of the automatic lock.
Solid hook bolts
Manufactured from steel, AV3 solid hook bolts can always be fully locked, ensuring a deep back scratches behind the strike plate to effectively oppose any attempt to separate the sash from the frame. AV3 solid hook bolts are also secured against pushing back when locked, which means that automatic locking alone offers high security, even if the main lock case is not locked.

By rotating the cylinder 360°, the deadbolt is fully extended to provide additional protection.

Weld-on hinge
The leaves are suspended from the frame by at least two welded steel hinges with an external diameter of 20 mm. They are mounted on ball-bearings, which gives them great inertia, allowing them to open to slightly more than 180° depending on the situation. What's more, they are designed in such a way that it is impossible to remove the hinge pin.
As an option, we can add anti-jamming points. This is not very useful for doors where the hinges are inside the premises to be protected. However, they are highly recommended when the hinges are exposed to the outside of the premises to be protected.
We also have what are known as «invisible» hinges, which are hidden in the jamb when the door is closed, so they are out of sight. Please consult us in advance, as this system cannot be applied to all types of leaf.
