Safety and insulation

Door leaves are an essential part of your doors, providing both security and insulation. At G-Block, we offer high-quality metal leaves, designed to meet your most exacting requirements.

Features

Type : single or double leaf configurations

Designed by : with an overlap on three sides and a thickness of approximately 60 mm. They are made from double-skinned solid door panels, consisting of two 15/10 electro-galvanised sheets per leaf.

Insulation and reinforcement : The internal insulation is made of high-density rock wool, reinforced with 15/10 omega. This design guarantees excellent thermal and acoustic insulation while ensuring maximum robustness.

T-frame self-supporting in one piece

The self-supporting T-frame is an ideal solution when the wall has a batten. It is designed to provide a solid and durable installation, while blending perfectly into the interior space of the bay.

Features

Robust design : The T-frame is made from tubes with a minimum cross-section of 60x60x3 mm, ensuring a sturdy structure. It is screwed to the opening with at least two screws per jamb, the number, position and type of fixing being determined by the installer to suit the masonry.

The listel, made from 20/10 cold-formed electro-galvanised sheet metal, conceals the gap between the leaf and the frame on the non-hung side, guaranteeing an attractive, neat finish.

U-frame with wall head overlap

The U-shaped frame is specially designed for interior doors, providing a solid and aesthetic installation by covering the head of the wall.

Features

Robust, attractive design: The U-shaped frame is made from zinc-coated sheet metal with a minimum thickness of 20/10, ensuring great durability. It is screwed to the opening with at least two screws per jamb, the number and position of the fixings being determined by the fitter according to the masonry.

A strip of tubing measuring at least 40 x 20 x 1.5 mm is riveted to the frame. This strip hides the gap between the leaf and the frame on the non-hung side, ensuring a clean, professional finish.

Features

• Effective means of suspension : The leaves are suspended from the frame by at least two welded steel hinges with an external diameter of at least 20 mm. These ball-bearing hinges are highly inertial and can be opened up to 180°, depending on the situation.
• Enhanced security : Our hinges are designed to prevent the hinge pin from being driven out, thereby increasing security. As an option, anti-unhinge points can be added, particularly useful for doors where the hinges are outside the premises to be secured.
• Invisible hinges : For added security and aesthetic appeal, we also offer "invisible" hinges. These are hidden from view when the door is closed. Please note that this system cannot be applied to all types of leaf. Please contact us for more details. [Link to contact page]

Features

Pre-painted : All our doors leave our workshops with a RAL 9010 primer/hanger.

Option: On request, we can apply a structured "M" liquid paint in the RAL of your choice, subject to availability from our suppliers.

Recommendations: If your door is exposed to the sun, we strongly advise against using a dark colour.
